BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS THAT MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE

Together we can reach more people who need food support.

Feeding Families works with a trusted network of schools, charities, housing providers, and community organisations across the North East to reach individuals and families facing hardship.

By becoming a community partner, your organisation can access food boxes and essential supplies to support the people you work with. Our partnership model ensures help reaches those who need it quickly, respectfully, and without unnecessary barriers.

WHO CAN BECOME A PARTNER?

We work with trusted organisations that are already supporting people experiencing hardship in their communities.

You may be eligible to become a Feeding Families partner if you are:

  • A registered charity or community organisation
  • A school, college, or education provider
  • A housing provider or homelessness service
  • A health or wellbeing service
  • A community group supporting vulnerable people

Partners must be able to:

  • Identify individuals or families experiencing food insecurity
  • Distribute food boxes responsibly and safely
  • Have a current safeguarding policy in place
  • Provide monthly reporting on how support is used

Our partnership model works best with organisations that already have trusted relationships with the people they support, helping us ensure food reaches those who need it most.

Follow the steps below to apply to become a Feeding Families partner.

HOW TO BECOME A PARTNER

Stronger support through collaboration.

Step 1 – Complete the Partner Application Form

This form gathers key information required for Feeding Families to understand your needs, assess whether you meet our criteria and get you set up on our systems.

Step 2 – Choose Delivery or Collection

Partners can either collect supplies directly from one of our hubs in Blaydon, Sunderland, Middlesbrough or Durham or we can delivery directly to your organisation for a small fee.

Step 3 – Send Required Documents

After completing the form, please send a signed copy of the Feeding Families Partnership Agreement 2026 (link to Partnership Agreement) and your most recent Safeguarding Policy.

Once received, our team will review your documents and confirm whether we can welcome you as a partner.

Step 4 – Place Orders

Once your partnership is confirmed, you will receive an ordering link. Orders must be submitted by 12:00pm on the Friday of the week before delivery or collection.

Step 5 – Monthly Reporting

All partners complete a short monthly return confirming how many boxes have been issued and information about the impact of the support provided

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to high demand and limited warehouse capacity, especially during the lead-up to Christmas, we may not always be able to onboard new partners immediately.

If this happens, your organisation will be added to our waiting list, and we will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

Completing your documents in advance can help speed up the process once we are able to move forward.
